Black Friday

It is currently 2:47am on Saturday November 24, 2007. I have been awake since 4:42am on Friday November 23. I am one of those crazy early morning after thanksgiving day shoppers. This year I was joined by my sister who is not a common after thanksgiving day shopper. Let me tell you, it was an event all right! So we decided to start our morning at target which opened at 6am, for those of you who are black friday shoppers you know that means at least by 5:30am. SOOOOO...we get there, it is snowing, I HATE SNOW, so we hang out in the car, we were not in it for electronics or any major buys, we just wanted to score some super cheap dvds and other fun christmas presents. Well target made everyone wait in line, typical, and then they only opened ONE, I repeat ONE door!! Seriously!! Let me just put it to you this way, we almost got trampled in target, we almost got run over waiting in line in the store, and I almost got stepped on b/c I had to do a crawl like move to get to some dvds on a bottom shelf. It was a rough morning and that was only our first stop!!!

I am happy to report though that I only have two people left to buy for for the upcoming holiday season!! YEAH!! Now if I could get my Japan presents in the mail in a timely fashion I would be a happy happy girl!!! lol...

On an even happier note, Mike & I are buying a house. We have an amazing realtor who we love, (WE LOVE YOU SHELLY!!) and who put up with many, many trips from Dayton to Cincinnati. She rocks. I am very happy that we have found our super cute little three bedroom 1 1/2 bath house. It is a cute little ranch that we can grow into. I am excited!! Mike is more nervous (he is obviously the person in charge of the finances :) Well Kids I will go into more details on my next blog b/c I need to go to bed right now before I fall asleep right here!!
